1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yardmine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Yardmine is a platform that allows users to create and discover local yard sales, garage sales, and estate sales. We provide tools for sellers to list their sales and for buyers to find sales in their area.

3. User Accounts

To create listings, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You may not share your account with others
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account

4. Listing Guidelines

When creating listings, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate address and timing information
  • Only list legitimate yard sales, garage sales, or similar events
  • Not list prohibited items (weapons, illegal goods, etc.)
  • Update or cancel listings if your plans change
  • Not use the service for commercial purposes or spam

5. Free Tier Limitations

Free accounts are limited to:

  • 2 active published listings at a time
  • 1 draft listing
  • Listings visible for up to 24 hours after the sale end time

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Yardmine and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or the conduct of other users. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

Yardmine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
